Thimerosal in Vaccines

This is my first blog entry, so I am unsure of the proper etiquette or format. I want to voice my opinion on the use of thimerosal (the preservative used in mandatory vaccinations). Scientific evidence continues to mount that at least puts into question the use of mercury-containing thimerosal in vaccines.

Until scientists and researchers deem the use of thimerosal completely safe, it should be banned. The welfare of the public in this instance is far more important than the profit margins of vaccine manufacturers who would be forced to use a more costly preservative.
