The National Day of Health Care Action is Here!
After weeks of planning, our big National Day of Health Care Action is here!
On Saturday, thousands of John Edwards supporters will be spreading the word about the senator’s pioneering plan for universal health care and lending a hand to those who need care today. And if you’re already signed up to join us on Saturday: Thank you!
But if you haven’t yet made your plans, there’s still plenty of time to get involved. You can search online for a group event near you, or you can download all the materials you need to participate on your own. Just visit our National Day of Health Care Action page.
Saturday’s events are a range of fun and creative ways to advance the big goal of health care for all — while helping improve the health care system today.
Some groups will be flyering in town centers to spread the word about the health care plan and sign up new supporters. Others will be gathering in local living rooms to write letters to the editors of local newspapers. And still others will be lining up at blood banks to help those who need care today.
These kinds of action are something unique, and something for all of you to be proud of. You’re helping to lead a campaign to achieve real, transformational change. We hope you can help make Saturday’s National Day of Health Care Action the great success we know it can be.
