Should We Dig Up Negative, Rival Blogs, Dignifying Them by Arguing Our Point, in Our Forum?

I suggest we do not fall into the trap of using this blog forum for the purpose of reprinting the dirt that has been posted by rival bloggers, working against our candidate. Just because another blog site posts an opinion or “news” report, detrimental to John Edwards, is no reason for us to keep it going.  Don’t you see?  We are falling into the oldest media trap.  Keep `em talking!
My grandfather used to say, “When someone says something to hurt you, just smile, and they will never know what you are thinking.”  Our “smile” could be the fact that we refuse to reprint and hash out negative blogs.  With this approach, we are “not” contributing to a wound that rival bloggers hope will continue to fester, in expectation of sending negativity back into the public eye, blinding the public to John’s real issues.  Simply put: Some things are better left unsaid.
(This was originally an Argument post,  in deference to  ”Manufacturing.
..”  However, I would like your opinions as members of our candidate’s  blog team).
