John Edwards came to Burlington, IA last evening and addressed 500 people. I am an independent, but am leaning much closer to registering as a Democrat. My two grown daughters are registered Democrats. We were wowed by John Edwards’ speech, and his responses during the Q&A session.

Today, Sen Obama came to Burlington, and we went to see him in a gathering of 1000+ supporters and others interested in hearing his speech. He was very impressive!

Neither my daughters nor I had made a decision as to who we would like to support until after attending these two gatherings. After some discussion, John Edwards has won our support hands down! His experience SHOWS, as does his grace and sincerity.  We would love to see an Edwards~Obama ticket in 2008. 8 years of John Edwards and then 8 years of Obama! It just couldn’t get any better than that!
