– Care Packages for the Guard – by JEMS

Colorado One Corps put together 30+ packages to send to a National Guard unit stationed in Balad, Iraq. These packages were collected from Fort Collins, Boulder, Westminster, Denver, and Colorado Springs. Many people from the various chapters met in Denver for the Colorado for Edwards meeting on Friday, March 2, and the Jefferson Jackson Dinner on March 3. The packages were then sent from Colorado Springs on March 6.

For our February National Day of Action, Senator Edwards has asked all One Corps chapters to get together and take action on health care.

My idea is waiting for you at the discussion forum.  If you have an activity that you think would be better, post it this week for group consideration.

DNC WINTER MEETING

When I started watching this speech, I remembered why I was proud to be a Democrat.
When he finished his speech, I remembered why I am proud to be an American.
