John Edwards on Poverty

I wanted to post a response here to the Edwards ‘08 blog that I had written on my own blog, Berkeley Bubble, in response to a critique of John Edwards’ work on poverty, and to provide a quick reality check for readers on the “substantive” differences that exist between Edwards and Obama, two candidates that I greatly admire.  What follows is an excerpt from my post, “John Edwards v. Barack Obama on Poverty”:

I’d first like to thank the poster for taking the time to comment on my post, and for offering me a way of further clarifying differences between both candidates’ agendas–a project all progressives and Democrats should do in earnest to ensure that we select the best candidate for 2008.
