Bush Attempts to Use the Military to Circumvent Laws Again

Bush and Rove use our young soldiers to boost Bush’s poll ratings!

Bush has decided to break the law again. He plans on breaking the "Posse Comitatus Act". This law prohibits the use of the military to enforce the law without asking Congress for authorization. He announced tonight that he will send thousands of US troops to monitor the boarder with Mexico.

Our young soldiers who will monitor the Mexican boarder will also become targets like their comrades in Iraq; as drug dealers send drugs through the open border. This is just like when Bush broke the law, lying to Congress and the American people when he sent 30,000 of young soldiers to Iraq to lose limbs or wind up in wheelchairs. Almost 3,000 are dead.

Lying to Congress is an impeachable offense.

We need a successful, strong lawyer in the White House in 2008 who can pull our polarized country together again. We need John Edwards!

John Edwards is the only Democratic candidate who has the credentials to mend our country’s divisions which were created under Bush.
